Account Registration

Create your account using your Zambian mobile number (MSISDN) and a valid National Registration Card (NRC) number. You must be at least 18 years old and physically located in Zambia to participate.

Your MSISDN is your unique account identifier and is tied to your wallet. Each person may hold only one account. Registration is subject to identity verification in compliance with BCLB licence conditions and the Anti-Money Laundering Act.

Token Purchase

Fund your in-platform wallet by purchasing tokens via MTN Mobile Money. A token is the unit of exchange for game entry. The token value corresponds directly to the slot price set for each game.

If you have set a voluntary deposit limit under your Responsible Gambling settings, the system will block any purchase that exceeds that limit. Self-excluded accounts cannot purchase tokens until their exclusion period ends.

Game Participation

Browse active games from your dashboard. Each game has a fixed number of numbered slots and a slot price. Select one or more available slots, confirm your entry, and your tokens are debited from your wallet immediately.

You may hold multiple slots across a single game. Slots already claimed by other participants are unavailable for selection. Each slot purchase is recorded in your wallet ledger and is non-refundable unless the game is cancelled per the refund policy.

Automated Draw

A game concludes either when all slots are filled or when its scheduled end date arrives. The winner is selected automatically by a cryptographically secure random algorithm (Java SecureRandom) that picks one slot at random from all purchased slots — giving every slot an equal probability.

If fewer than the minimum required slots are filled by the end date, the game is cancelled and all participants receive a full refund to their wallet. The minimum fill threshold is defined per game.

Prize Claim

The winner receives an in-app notification and an SMS alert immediately after the draw. You have 90 days from the draw date to claim your prize, in line with the Lotteries Act (Chapter 163). Unclaimed prizes are forfeited after this window.

To claim, contact our support centre or visit our offices with proof of identity. Delivery arrangements may be available for physical prizes — contact support for details.

Responsible Gambling Tools

Minilotto is committed to safe and responsible play in accordance with BCLB licence requirements. From your account settings you can set:

• ▸Deposit Limit — caps how many tokens you can purchase in a single transaction.
• ▸Cooling-Off Period — temporarily suspends your ability to play for 1, 7, 14, or 30 days.
• ▸Self-Exclusion — locks your account from gambling activity for 30, 90, 180, or 365 days, or permanently. This action cannot be reversed during the exclusion period.
